Whether it is storyboarding the next project, voice recording narration, capturing the perfect action, or spending hours in the editing room, it all leads up to the big reveal when viewers are engaged and motivated. When writing for creative and instructional purposes I always try to find the heart of the matter and inspire readers through clear, cohesive communications. Knowing your message and audience is key when designing presentations, newsletters, technical documents and staff communications. I am skilled at script writing, technical writing and web publications as well as internal and external communications to enhance public relations campaigns.
As an adult trainer and technical education instructor for 15+ years, I pride myself on developing curriculum that is built on equity and engagement. I am skilled at universal learning design and ADDIE instructional design models as a means to ensure the learning experiences I create always have purposeful outcomes that are targeted to the needs of the learner. In 2024 I had the privilege of leading instructional initiatives in high school and beyond planning for over 5300 students and 250 staff members.
