PROJECT MANAGEMENT

I have experience in strategic visioning, project planning, timeline implementation, internal and external communications, budgeting, grant writing, and stakeholder relationships to create dynamic outcomes.

WORK-BASED LEARNING - Students need to see the world of work in order to imagine themselves in it. To grow students' knowledge of career opportunities and industries, I planned and executed 14 industry tours impacting 350 students at locations such as F5, T-Mobile, Boeing and more. I secured internships for Marysville School District students in medical, manufacturing, arts, sports and recreation as well as technology to offer exploratory experiences in careers tied to high school and beyond plans for over a dozen students in 2024. Through development of community partnerships and outreach, I grew our Worksite Learning experiences for students by 280% and included 40 local companies offering paid work for credit. To market these opportunities to students and families, I curated a district webpage to allow me to have a continuous communication cycle.

COLLEGE & CAREER FAIRS - With the abundance of choices and information, it was important to provide opportunities for students to speak directly with career and college partners to gain knowledge about options for their future post-high school. To do this, I provided communications and marketing support to our College Readiness Department to promote our district wide Career event in October 2023 that was attended by hundreds of district students. To compliment this effort, I produced a Career event specifically geared toward middle school students that included 21 virtual speakers from trades, medical, public service, business, STEM and creative field for 200 eighth graders and an all school college and career booth fair for over 600 visitors. Students left inspired and excited for their future.

HIGH SCHOOL & BEYOND - The Marysville School District now has a comprehensive high school and beyond planning platform for 5300 students that I managed. This meant communicating with district administration, creating internal and external communications for students and families, and reporting data monthly to monitor completion rates and student needs. I also worked closely with stakeholders to enhance our platform and worked with OSPI at the state level to provide input into future High School and Beyond initiatives.
